Welcome to the electorate of Batman. My priority as the Member is listening to the community and acting in the interests of our local area.

The Batman electorate is a diverse area, with many attractions and many cultures contributing to the development of this great country. This website includes information on matters and events important to my electorate and keeps you up-to-date with my parliamentary work.

I would like to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas in 2011.  This year, in lieu of sending out Christmas cards, I am again making a donation to FareShare.  FareShare is a charity that rescues unwanted food and uses it to feed the needy and disadvantaged people of Melbourne.  Established in 2001, FareShare’s aim is to provide one million healthy and nutritious meals per year to Victoria’s hungry and homeless.  I note that FareShare has already exceeded this figure for 2011 and would like to extend my congratulations and thanks for their important contribution to the community.  You can find out more about FareShare via their website http://www.fareshare.net.au/about.php
